Introduction
The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the official notification for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) Class 9 Lateral Entry for the academic year 2025–26.
Eligible students can now apply online to secure admission in Class 9 at various Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas across India.
The admission process includes an offline OMR-based entrance test scheduled for 7 February 2026.

रिचय
नवोदय विद्यालय समिति (NVS) ने शैक्षणिक सत्र 2025–26 के लिए जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय चयन परीक्षा (JNVST) कक्षा 9 पार्श्व प्रवेश की आधिकारिक अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है।
योग्य विद्यार्थी अब पूरे भारत के विभिन्न जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालयों में कक्षा 9 में प्रवेश के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
प्रवेश परीक्षा ऑफलाइन OMR आधारित होगी और इसका आयोजन 7 फरवरी 2026 को किया जाएगा।

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
Candidates must be studying in Class 8 during the 2025–26 academic session in a recognized school within the same district where the JNV is located. - Age Limit:
Students must be born between 1 May 2010 and 31 July 2012 (both dates inclusive). - Nationality:
Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
